I am the local Rector here in Thorpe St Andrew (known as 'Fr James') and am delighted to be involved with Thorpe St Andrew School & Sixth Form in a number of ways. I originally qualified and practised as a Family Lawyer in the west of county but trained for the ordained ministry 10 years ago and, after other posts, came to Thorpe in 2016 where I joined as a Governor in 2024. I grew up in Thorpe so it is a privilege to give something back to this lovely community. My hope, as a Governor, is to ensure high standards of teaching and learning and that the children and staff experience joy each and every day.
